About Work Wobble
balance for great work and life
Led by Carrie and supported by a team of four seasoned HR directors in large well known brands with over 100 years of combined experience, we’ve seen firsthand the toll work can take. Work matters—it provides identity, purpose, and security—but it’s not everything. It should never overshadow what truly counts in life or take more than it gives.

At Work Wobble, we’re here to help you tackle work challenges with a mindset that’s positive, capable, and grounded—keeping work in its place. Our mission is to give you the tools to build unshakable confidence, find clarity in the chaos, and stay true to yourself. With resilience, balance, and perspective, you’ll handle whatever work throws at you—without it spilling into the rest of your life.

Our passion for helping people take control of the wobbles, challenges, and emotions that come with work is what inspired Work Wobble. Let’s be honest—life’s too short to stay stuck in a job, team, or company that doesn’t (at least mostly) bring you joy. We’re here to help you navigate work with clarity, confidence, and perspective, giving you the space to dream and the tools to break free from feeling stuck in a cycle and find balance.

Carrie's Story Continued
By the time I hit 40, after a decade of ignoring my feelings, they finally caught up with me—and completely overwhelmed me. I constantly had this nagging feeling of being trapped in a cycle I couldn’t escape, pushing forward with the hope that I would feel different but I never did. The pressure kept building until it crushed me. I was drained, lost, and felt like a shadow of the person I once was—or the person I wanted to be.
The parts of my work I used to love—leading my team, facilitating executive sessions, strategising for the future—began to feel like wading through tar every single day. My body started to rebel. I was exhausted, constantly frustrated and generally struggling through each day.

It became a battle just to hold on. I cried at night, slept through weekends, and couldn’t show up for my family in the way they needed me to. Deep down, I knew I was denying myself what I really needed. My gut knew it. My heart knew it. But my mind kept pushing back, clinging to the money, the status, the security, the “nice things.” Yet, piece by piece, I was unraveling.

Eventually, my body made the decision for me. When I finally had the conversation to leave, it felt like an out-of-body experience. I wish I’d seen it coming sooner, wish I’d taken the time to figure out what I needed before I hit breaking point. If only I’d had someone to help me navigate those feelings and choices before everything spiraled out of control.

That’s why I created Work Wobble. My journey was messy, exhausting, and full of doubt—but it doesn’t have to be that way for others. With the right tools, guidance, and space to reflect, the path forward can be clearer, easier, and less overwhelming. Work Wobble exists to help people find their balance before they hit the breaking point.

Leaving my corporate role wasn’t about giving up success—it was about redefining it. I stepped away from security without knowing if I’d ever reach that level again. But today, I’ve built a life that not only matches my former success but feels deeply fulfilling and authentic.

That pivotal moment inspired Work Wobble. I created it to help others standing at their own crossroads, unsure of what’s next. If you’re feeling stuck, it doesn’t have to mean the end—it could be the beginning of something even greater.
Let me show you how...
